Campaign Chairman Marsh Delivers Keynote at Miskatonic Homecoming

Campaign Chairman Nyarlathotep Marsh delivered the keynote address at Miskatonic University's annual Homecoming celebration to a capacity crowd of 4,000 in the Armitage Memorial Auditorium. The speech, which lasted 47 minutes by clock time though several attendees insist it was 'much longer,' received a standing ovation that eyewitnesses describe as 'beginning before the speech ended.'

The university's communications office reports that three attendees 'ascended' during the address — a term the office declined to define further, saying only that 'they are no longer in the auditorium and are believed to be well.' The remaining 3,997 attendees exited the venue 'visibly moved and slightly disoriented,' which the university's event coordinator noted was 'actually a pretty standard outcome for Miskatonic events.'
