About the Coalition
Fishermen United for Innsmouth represents the coastal workers who have lived and labored alongside the Deep Ones for generations. Members of the union — some of whom display the distinctive Innsmouth features that come with prolonged coastal residence — advocate for fair labor standards that recognize the unique contributions of both human and non-human workers.
The union's collective bargaining agreements are considered groundbreaking: they cover gill maintenance leave, underwater shift differentials, and a pioneering 'transformation accommodation' clause that ensures members retain full benefits regardless of how many physiological changes they undergo during their employment. 'A worker is a worker,' says union leadership, 'whether they breathe air or water.'
